Country clubs and garden parties. The last thing Cassandra wants is to spend the summer before her senior year marooned in a snooty Massachusetts shore town. Cass craves drama and adventure, which is hard when she just feels stuck.

But when a dreamy stranger shows up on her family's private beach, claiming that it is his property-and that the year is 1925-Cass is swept into a mystery a hundred years in the making. As she searches for answers in the present, Cass discovers a truth that thrusts Lawrence's life into jeopardy. It won't matter which century he is from if he won't live to see tomorrow.

Desperate to save the boy who's come to mean everything to her, Cassandra must find a way to change history...or risk losing Lawrence forever.

The Interview G

Fictitious Delicious (FD):  In UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, Lawrence “visits” the present day from 1925.  Tell us what year and location YOU’D like to visit.

Renee Collins (RC):  I was a History major in college, so this is a tough question for me! There are so many historical eras I’d love to see in person. I’ve always wanted to visit Imperial China. The culture is so vibrant and interesting. It would be amazing to see in person.

FD: Who is your favorite member of One Direction?

RC:  Ummmm, I confess I don’t know any of their names, even though I enjoy some of their songs. I think they’re cute though!

FD:  Let’s pretend that you’re stranded on the Hawaiian island of Kahoolawe (with lots of bottled water!).  What five books would want to keep you company until help arrived?

RC:  Ah, that’s a fun question. First of all, given my teenage-boy-like overconfidence in my abilities, I’d probably attempt to swim to Maui. And I’d probably drown or be eaten by a shark. That said, for the sake of the question, I’ll say: The Great Gatsby by, F. Scott Fitzgerald, East of Eden by John Steinbeck, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (that’s kind of cheating, but I do have them all in one book at my house, so that’s a thing.) And lastly, a book on how to make smoke signals. Just to speed things along.

FD: Share with us one of your favorite scenes in UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.

RC:  My favorite scene to write is when Lawrence and Cassandra spend the whole night together on the beach. It’s a nice break from the mystery subplot, and plus it was fun for me to write a purely romantic scene. I love my characters, and I love to write scenes where they are happy.

FD: If you could spend five minutes with 16 year old Renee, what would you tell her?

RC:  Oh wow. Good question. I’d probably tell her to chill out a little and not try so hard. People will like you for you. And that guy that you think the world revolves around? He’s a manipulative, controlling jerk. Save yourself some pain, and run away from him as fast as you can.
